MO SALAH SAYS IT WILL BE HIS LAST SEASON AT LIVERPOOL FOLLOWING MAN UNITED THRASHING

Mohamed Salah has said it will be his 'last year' as his contract is set to run out next summer at Liverpool.

Whether he meant the last year of his contract or his last year at the club, only he will know but he did say the words.

The Liverpool legend added another goal to his impressive tally at Old Trafford as he has more goal involvements versus the Red Devils (17) than any other player in the competition.

Salah has either scored (11) or assisted (6) 17 of Liverpool's last 23 Premier League goals against Manchester United.

When interviewed post-match he said: "As you know it’s my last year in the club, I don’t want to think about it, I just want to enjoy it," Salah said. "I feel I am free to play football and we’ll see what can happen next year."

He was then asked about the comment by Sky Sports and replied: "It could be the last time [at Old Trafford]. Nobody has talked to me yet about contracts," he admitted.

"I play my last season and we’ll see at the end of the season.”

Manager Arne Slot was asked in the press conference about Salah's comments and said: "I don't talk about contracts but I can talk about how well he played today, if you're interested in that," he joked.
