The Southern 500 race is all set to conclude the 2024 NASCAR regular season this weekend at the Darlington Raceway.
The Southern 500 will be held at 'The Track Too Tough to Tame' for the 75th time, and is sure to test man and machine alike. Numerous significant NASCAR races have taken place at the egg-shaped track, including last year's triumph by Kyle Larson.
This year will be Shane van Gisbergen's sixth appearance for Kaulig Racing. He was recently announced as a full-time Cup driver for the next season. In other developments, Timmy Hill will drive the No. 66 for MBM Motorsports, while Kaz Grala will make a comeback to drive the No. 15 for Rick Ware Racing.
